Photograph Editing
My Personal Commitment to Authenticity:
When I was 15, I once entered a few images in the National Geographic “Your Photo” contest and was interested to read their rules for submission. The viewpoint expressed by their Director of Photography: David Griffin, seemed to sum up the standards that I’d set for myself, so I will print them here, as copied from their web site. (See the side bar menu)
Essentially, my goal is to take photos that can stand on their own merit without any alterations beyond cropping, and the basic need to achieve realistic light, color balance and sharpnes.
These are the rules by which I set my photo editing standards, if you have any questions or comments please let me know.
